Trango Tower Pakistan also known as Nameless is one of the most spectacular granite towers said to be the largest rock wall in the world situated in Pakistan. Trango Tower Or Nameless is among the largest vertical faces of the world. There are ten routes so far. The hardest and most challenging route to the summit is South ridge. Trango Tower North face Pillar is easier than other routes. South Pillar has 1000 meters of mixed and granite rock climbing.
A strong British team ascended Trango Tower for the first time on their second attempt in 1975. In July,1975 Mo Anthoine and Martin Boysen of United Kingdom successfully climbed this rock via South West face.
Galen Rowell climbed Trango Tower for the first time in 1977. There are no possibilities of free climbing; This is a fascinating and mesmerizing place with huge granite rock towers reaching thousands of feet high, dropping down to the churning moraine of the Dunge and Trango glaciers. The Trango Tower Pakistan has a mixture of snow and ice route and the accent is of moderate grade, with some lower angle rock sections, this is an amazing way to reach the summit of Trango and Nameless.
